How do I stop outlook 2007 putting a space after an apostrophe?

This looks very odd in the text formatting (eg test's is shown as test' s)
and I cannot see any way of stopping it.

Outlook 2002 did not do this.

Many thanks

Outlook 2007 uses Word as the email editor, where for earlier versions it was
there as an option but not mandatory.

Try checking the AutoCorrect settings in Word.

I think it's the other way round - Outlook 2007 uses it's OWN editor whereas
in prior versions you had the option to use Word....

I promise you, Outlook 2007 uses Word. Just one example of where you can see
this is the Format > Paragraph dialog box, but there are numerous other Word
features available.

Umm no there aren't - along the top of the ribbon in Word 2007 I have the
functions of Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, Mailings, review, View
Along the top of the ribbon in the Outlook Editor I ONLY have Message,
Insert, options, Format Text.
Outlook uses the Word engine, but does NOT use the default Word
interface.....

Thanks for the replies.

I remember outlook 2002 did give the option of using word as the editor, I
cannot see this option in outlook 2007.

In any event, I have tried this in word 2007, and word does not have this
problem, or feature!!!. So this is not the answer to the problem in Outlook
2007.

Thanks anyway

Outlook 2007 uses ONLY Word. There is no no other option.

Outlook 2007 uses special .dll version of Word, not the full Word program - I suppose you could call it Word-Lite.

| But it doesn't use the FULL set of Word functions though
