When I click on Send/Receive, I get a message stating "The operation Failed.
An object could not be found." Also, when trying to import my address book
from Outlook Express, Outlook 2007 crashes.

Is this an upgrade from an earlier version of Outlook or a new install?
Do you have any add-ins running?

It's an upgrade to Office Standard 2007. Don't know about add-ins.

Try Office Diagnostics: Start, All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft
Office Tools.
If it doesn't fix the error, do a full repair of Office.
You are also well advised to create a new profile via Control Panel,
Mail. If you don't have any data (contacts, email, etc) in your Outlook
right now that you couldn't download/import again, just delete your
current profile.

Tried the Diagnostics already. Didn't find anything. I also tried the Repair.

Did you import it on your other computer? If yes, open the PST on the
computer you are having trouble (via File, Open, Outlook Data file), and
copy the contacts via copy & paste to the PST on that computer. Then
close the other PST (right-click it and close).
