Outlook 2007/Vista/Roadrunner

I was having problems setting up Outlook 2007 with Vista and my Roadrunner
Email account. After contacting Roadrunner, they said that they can't get the
login scripting to work. I was in total dis-belief. I have been working or
should I say dealing with or putting up with Microsoft for the last 20 years.
Why must we run into this slew of incompatibility with every upgrade?
Roadrunner is obviously a big player. I can't believe this wasn't caught and
fixed in Beta. Does anyone else have any info on this problem?

You must have contacted someone other than RR. I been using RR with
Outlook 2007 and Vista for almost a year. I have seven email accounts
with them on O 2007 and Vista.

I can't believe this wasn't caught and fixed in Beta.

Who's beta...Vista's? This is not an MS problem it's up to the ISP to
get it right.

some areas. Here is the transcript from my RoadRunner Chat Session:

JFK: Hello Diane, The Faq says that Outlook doesn't work with Vista. I
checked Microsoft and It looks like it should work.
Diane D: For some reason there it is not accepting our scripts for
logging in.
JFK: That is odd. I would think that Microsoft and Roadrunner would be
all over that.
Diane D: We are coming out with a new version of our email and will need
authentication, but until it is out there nothing that can be done.
