Outlook 2007 Tasks

I MUCH prefer the category format of earlier versions of Outlook. I setup my
own categories;not red, blue, etc. When I got Vista and Outlook 2007, I
moved the old file into Outlook 2007 but it is very difficult to add a task
and assign it to one of my pre-defined categories. Is there a way to use the
older "classic" view of tasks?

Thanks.

Just rename the caltegories to use the names you want.

Additionally to Brian, if you use your old PST file in OL07, right click the
top folder and choose Properties/Update to Color Categories. That should
scan your PST file for all of the used categories and add them to the new
Master Category List.
