Master Categories - Outlook 2007

Xirtam

I can't get the categories I have created on my PC onto my laptop

Tasks I have both synchronised and/or imported to my laptop have the correct
categories they had on my PC.

When I try and assign a new task a category on the laptop I can only assign
the defaul categories

I have tried exporting the categories from the Registry on the desktop and
importing into the laptop - I get responses saying the task was successful
but the categories are not there.

Both computers are XP & Office 2007

Outlook 2007 stores the Master Category List in your PST file. So, you can
copy all the file, or use a third-party tool that allows exporting and
importing of categories. For that, you might try Category Manager; for
details and the free trial see the link in my signature please.

All the categories are listed in Application.Session.Categories. For more
