outlook 2007 spell check

I cannot spell check say two paragraphs of a long email. i highlight the
required portion, click spell check, but every time the program starts
checking right from the beginning again

HAve you applied Service Pack 2 and additional updates for Office 2007
already?
Does it work correctly in Word?

SP1 AND SP2 ARE INSTALLED AND WINDOWS IS UPDATED, NO IT DOES NOT WORK EVEN IN
WORD
