I installed Outlook 2007 about 6-8 months ago and haven't changed anything
else with my computer, ISP or e-mail accounts, but am now losing my Sent
Items every time I turn off my computer. The first time I lost them (about a
month ago) I thought it just Auto Archived my messages, but nothing is in
Archives since before I changed to Outlook 2007 so I know it's not that.
On 8/2/08 (a Saturday) I lost all my Sent Items a second time. My next log
on was 8/4/08 (a Monday) and, once again, my Sent Items was empty. It is now
Tuesday (8/5/08) and, when I turned my computer on and logged on to e-mail,
all my sent items are gone again!!!
I have already checked to make
sure View/Current View is set correctly and it is. Please heeeellllllppp
mmeeeeeeee...........

Thank you,
F.R.

Right click on the Sent Items folder-> Properties-> button Folder Size...
Does the size indicate your items should still be there?
Is AutoArchive turned on or off?
Which mail account type are you using?

Thanks for replying, Roady.

Sent Items Folder Size is only 32K so only messages sent this morning are
there.
Autoarchive is turned off and I have gone to archives multiple times to look
for lost messages to no avail.
I'm using a POP e-mail account. (I hope that's what you meant.)

Hello,

Would you by any chance be using a different outgoing server/email address
to your normal ISP, like googlemail for example?

I am suffering the same symptoms as you and this is the only thing i can
think of that might be causing the vanishing of sent items on a daily basis...

Tom
