Sent Outlook Forms not in Sent Items

I created e-mail templates in the Tools/Forms section of Outlook and now when
I use the templates and send them, they do not appear in my Sent Items. When
I send a regular e-mail from scratch, the copy apears in my Sent Items. If I
copy the text from the template to a new e-mail message, the copy again
appears in my Sent Items.

For background, I had turned off the "Save copies of messages in Sent Item
folder" when my rule to move all sent items to my Inbox was on. I have since
turned that back on and the rule off. That's when I noticed the problem. Am
I missing a step somewhere so that templates sent appear in my Sent Items?

How are you doing the send? Are you starting from within Outlook or from
within Windows?
 
I'm starting from within Outlook.
