I have been running Office 2007 for 2+ months with relative good luck until
today. When I opened/started outlook today it did some sort of "setup" before
opening. Now when I try to send/recieve email I get an error message saying
"NOT IMPLEMENTED" and "An OLE registration error ocurred" and to run set-up
again. How do I do this???

Paul, try HELP/Office Diagnosis. It may say it was run already, but
start again. Seems to fix the same issue I had.

tomax7,
thank you for your help. although your fix didn't immediately solve the
problem it definitely pointed me in the right direction. by running the
diagnostics it told me that 2 versions of outlook were running on my computer.
somehow the outlook XP version had resurfaced and was conflicting with the
2007 version. i removed the XP version by going to add/remove programs and
"changed" the status of outlook XP.
Thanks again!

I started have the same error today. I ran the diagnostic and removed the
duplicate xp version of outlook however I am still having issues. Does anyone
have any other ideas on what to do?
