Outlook 2007 search

Hi,

I have installed Vista and Outlook 2007 on my notebook.
Now when I try to search for some e-mails, like for example searching
e-mails from a certain address, I don't get any results.
Outlook tells something about e-mails are not yet indexed.
Anyone has faced this problem before?

Thanks.

Just wait till it's done indexing. The time required depends on the size of
your mailbox.

But the mailbox is not large and even in the end of the day I can't search
anything.
Does the indexing starts automatically or I have to start it manually?

Thanks.

Same issue here, I think it may have begun which I uninstalled BCM.

Outlook 2007, WS2003, re-installed Office, Repaired PST, Rebuilt Index,
Deleted a bunch of email, Unchecked MailBox in Search Options, let it delete
indexes, re-checked MailBox to Search, it rebuilt indexes (went to 0),
......... Now at a loss as to what to do next.

I had the same issue where I was not getting any results. The "fixing
instant Search" article took care of it when I used the "scanpst.exe".

Too bad MS does not have an article to show this.....thanks to some good
MVPs to do the job.
