Hi,
I have Outlook 2007 running on Win XP Pro SP2 and Exchange 2003. On the
Exchange server there are a number of mailboxes that everyone in the IT Dept
has access to, which show errors that we work through.
Everything was working fine, however now that I've upgraded to Outlook 2007,
whenever I do a search on the folder with the e-mails containing the errors,
I get the message "Cannot open this item," for any e-mails that it finds. If
I go to individual e-mails without doing the search, including the ones that
won't open in the search results, they open fine.
As there are 5000 e-mails in there and some errors can be in there 10 or
more times, this is an important feature. I'm not using the "Instant Search"
option, this is the simple, standard search feature.
Does anyone have any ideas on what causes this and how to fix it?
