Outlook 2007 ribbon gone!

After a nonresponding error, I restarted Outlook 2007 and the new fancy
ribbon is GONE! The tool bars look like the previous version of Outlook. I
tried control F1 and Alt F1 per the MS website instructions for minimizing
the ribbon, but those commands have no effect. I have restarted Outlook
several times and get the same result...no ribbon. Darn! Just when I was
getting to like it!
I would like to get the big ribbon back. Any suggestions are appericated!

The Ribbon is only on Outlook items, not the main Outlook Window. When you open a new mail message, does the new Ribbon show?

HI Milly,
Yeah...you are correct, the ribbon is NOT present in the general Outlook
picture, however it IS there for a new mail message.
I really did think it was part of the general window...
Thank-you for solving my mystery!
