Outlook 2007 Out of Office

We have Outlook 2007 running on an Exchange server. I have a user that is
having issues with Out of Office continually sending out emails even though
it is turned off. We even reimaged his pc and reconfigured his Outlook
profile with fresh data, and his Outlook account is still sending the OOF
emails to other staff. He has not logged into webmail so the only device he
was using was his current pc. Any idea how to stop this. His management is
getting frustrated about the emails and I am out of ideas on how to stop them.

Thank you for that suggestion, however, he has never used OWA. We did try it
and OWA shows him as in the Office. Any other ideas or things to try?

Thank you for that suggestion. He has never used OWA before, but we did try
that and OWA shows him as being in the office. Any other things to try? I
thank you for assisting.

Do you know it's a real OOA message and not one generated by a rule?

It's not a rule. We reimaged his pc, reinstalled a fresh copy of Office and
then set up his Outlook. When a test message was sent to him, the OOO email
replied. He doesn't have the expertise to set up rules. That's the baffling
part, no rules, never used OWA, just his pc, which was wiped clean and set
abck up clean.

Can you use the Exchange management tools to check his mailbox?

I don't have access to the Exchanger server, what tools are you referring to
and what action can I ask our Exchange administrator to do? I am sorry that
I have to pass this on, our work divisions are a little different!

I'm not familiar with Exchange. Perhaps the people in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin would be able to help.
