Outlook 2007 on 50% CPU when accessing Issues list of Project 2007

Description:
We are using Outlook 2007 to navigate to pages of Project 2007.
I used the Web tool bar of Outlook 2007 to navigate to the Issues list of
one of the projects in the Project 2007. Outlook showed the page but started
catching 50% of the CPU continuously and endlessly. This simple scenario can
be repeated after closing Outlook, also after restarts, also on other
computer stations.
Is this known? Is there a solution?

Repro steps:
1. Open Outlook 2007
2. Right click the toolbar area and add the "Web" toolbar
3. Type in the URL of an Issues list of one of the projects. It should be
something like "http://<server>/<project path>/Issues.aspx"
4. The Issues Web page should appear properly within Outlook, but the CPU
will be set to 50% (by the Outlook.exe process) continuously until Outlook is
closed.

Expected Results:
The CPU should get back down to 0% after the page is displayed.

How often does this happen?
Always

From a technical point of view I would say that this indeed could happen
because of the Word rendering engine for HTML and the short answer would be;
Don't use Outlook as a web browser. The web browse functionality in Outlook
is more designed to display simple (more) static web pages as a Home Folder.

Since this issue involves multiple products and a reproducible application
hang I would suggest that you could report this directly to Microsoft as a
bug. The bug could be in Outlook, in the HTML rendering engine of Word or in
the code of the page of Project Server. And even if it was in the page code
or HTML rendering of Word you would not want Outlook to spike out on CPU.
