Outlook 2007 New Email To Field Slow

Guest

When adding an address to the To field by just typing in the field a list of
frequently used email addresses used to come up immediatly (in Outlook 2003).
In 2007 it takes about 10 seconds to build the list.

Is there a way to speed this up so it performes like Outlook 2007?

Thanks

This happens to me as well. I have no idea what is slowing this down!
If I look at the Task Manager, the CPU spikes to 100% when I start
typing someone's name. Did you every find a resolution?

Thanks,
John

No I have not found a solution. It is really anoying. I've disconnected an
Com add-ins and other references to address books and it still takes about 20
seconds from the time the first character is typed. Also the cursor
disappears and nothing can be done while it is "searching".

Bummer. I have resorted to clicking the To... and CC... buttons that
appear on the new mail form. Typing the names in the resulting form
works well, i.e., it's fast.

GL... If I find a solution, I'll post it here.

Did either of you create a new profile after you updated to Outlook 2007?
