Outlook 2007--message body does not download

I have just installed MS Office Professional Plus 2007 Beta 2.and Outlook
2007. My old messages imported intact incl. header and message body. But the
new mail , downloading from the server only arrive with the header and
subject, but the message body does not get downloaded or gets replaced with a
symbol or a number or a letter.
Help! I would like to read my e-mail.

My OS is Windows XP Professional SP1 and SP2

Sorry for appearing dumb, but I cannot find an instruction in Outlook Help
to turn off email scanning. How do I turn it off? (I am not running Norton
AV, but I am running AVG)

It's not in Outlook Help as Outlook doesn't provide this but your virus
scanner. You should check the Help from your virus scanner instead ;-)

Ok, I turned disabled the AVG plug in and now I can read the messages again
