Outlook 2007 Junk mail filter issues

On this machine I have 2 email accounts. I have a rule in place to put mail
arriving from one of those accounts into a sub folder under the inbox folder
labeled inbox * where * is the name of the other account. That rule works OK.
I also had inbox * as a separate folder at the same level as inbox.

The MS junk mail filter works on mail going to the inbox but seems not to
work on mail going to inbox *.

How can I configure the application to get the junk mail filter to work on
both incoming mail accounts?

Thanks for suggestions.

Since all your mail is delivered to a single Inbox before being moved to
other folders by rules, the OL 2007 Junk E-mail filter SHOULD be running
prior to your rules and moving what it considers to be junk to the Junk
E-mail folder prior to your rules performing their work. Since this is not
happening for you, if you have a retail version of OL 2007 (not an OEM
version), you should open a support incident with Microsoft and report this
problem to them. Support for OL 2007 is free for the first 90 days from the
first support incident inception for retail versions.
