outlook 2007 is slow

I find it frequently crashes whereasoutlook 2003 never did. I also find that
whenever a message has links that if I click it 2007 wants to save it in
mydocuments instead of going to the link. Lastly if the message has a lot of
graphics and links it takes forever to open. There are orange flashes along
the top and calls to office online. It is intolerably slow compared to 2003.


All the other 2007 apps are fantastic.

About the crashes; make sure that you are not running any add-ins
incompatible with Outlook 2007. If you are running a virus scanner that
integrates with Outlook disable this integration and try again.

If you are still facing issues post the exact error messages and what is
being logged to the Event Viewer.

As for the hyperlink if you look more closer it doesn't want to save it but
it prompts you for something. The dialog is called Locate Link Browser,
right? Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE.
