Outlook 2007 installation problem

I have a new Dell XPS 410/2GB with Vista. I installed Office Enterprise 2007
and on the initial install Outlook 2007 was listed. I then attempted to set
up mail accounts for POP3 and it stated that I needed to run setup again. I
then started setup on Office Enterprise 2007 and clicked repair. During that
repair, an error message came up stating Setup Bootstrapper has stopped
working due to "a problem" (no detail on the nature of the problem was
provided). I waited a few minutes because the hard drive was still active
before closing the program. Now there is no Outlook 2007 on my hard drive and
when I look at the folders on the install DVD, Outlook 2007 has a red X with
Not Available indicated. Help!! What do I do now to get Outlook to reinstall?

I wish I knew the answer. I've spent the last 2 days trying to uninstall and
reload office Enterprise. It still has no Outlook available and the red 'x'
comes up when I try to reload. I can't even open outlook 2003 (which windows
won't let me delete) Microsoft.....any way we can get outlook installed!

Only a single instance of OL can be installed, so if OL2003 is still shown
then something went wrong with your 2007 installation

The installation from Enterprise produced 2003 versions of Excel, Word,
Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook in addition to the 2007 versions of those
programs within Microsoft Office and I did a regular installation and not a
custom install. Why would the installation create both 2003 and 2007 versions
if 2003 cannot be there for 2007 to work on Outlook?

Problems solved - Dell had put on the Office 2003 files although they were
not ready for use. First uninstalled Office 2003. Then within the Add or
Remove Programs used Change on Office 2007 and right clicked to Run all
outlook programs.
