Outlook 2007: Insert as hyperlink

OL2007 also has the "Insert as hyperlink" function just like previous versions.

Here's the predicament: When creating a hyperlink to a network file in Outlook 2007 and then sending this message to a person using Outlook 2002 (still within the company), it doesn't show as a hyperlink.

How do I get OL2002 to see a hyperlink created in OL2007?
