Outlook 2007 freezes, locks up, hangs

Our office has several people using Outlook 2007 with BCM. The PC's were
upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007 Small Business. We are running Win
XP SP2 and Exchange 2003. The PC's are different late model Dells. They are
all experiencing problems with Outlook freezing up randomly or it just hangs.
I have tried removing Office 2003. I have tried removing and reinstalling
Office 2007. I have tried erasing the extend.dat, frmcache.dat, and
outcmd.dat files. I have installed the MS performance update #933493 and the
BCM update #935569. I have run the MS Office diagnostics that came with MS
Office. Nothing has worked. Our company still has this problem and it is
affecting our productivity. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Hello
Microsoft?

"Hello Microsoft?"
Microsoft doesn't live here. If you are seeking for support from Microsoft
call them.

Have you already recreated the mail profile?

Have you checked your add-ins? Make sure they are compatible with Outlook
2007. Some Dell machines come with a tool called OutlookAddin made by
Cyberlink pre-installed which can cause the issues you are describing. If
you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this
integration.

Outlook 2007 just started freezing for me today. I had just applied a handful of updates from Microsoft update and after doing so, Outlook was freezing when I launched it. I was going to begin uninstalling all of the patches one-by-one, and by coincidence, the first one I uninstalled (KB934062) seemed to fix my problem with Outlook 2007. I hope this helps you and others experiencing the same problem. Post either way.

This is the info about the suspect patch:

Security Update for Office 2007 (KB934062)
A security vulnerability exists in the 2007 Microsoft Office System and the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system that could allow remote code execution. This update resolves that vulnerability.
