Outlook 2007 Freezes Entire Computer

Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. I have Kaspersky IS
installed on Windows XP. I already disabled the Kaspersky add-in and every
time I open Outlook, it freezes the entire computer. I cannot click on
anything, even Task Manager to close out the program. I have to manually shut
down the computer. I'm not sure what is going on but I would appreciate any
help.

Thanks in advance,

Tina

I would just remove the third party add on and run an Outlook repair. That should fix it.

Everyone, thanks for replying.

I have tried opening in safe mode--still freezes. And I have used the
repair option three times. After the third time, an error message popped up
saying something about the bootstrapper. I can't remember the exact terms
(I'm at work right now)
