Outlook 2007 data transfer

I have a new desktop computer with Vista and Office 2007. I also have a
laptop with XP Home and Office 2007. When I travel on business I am gone for
several weeks at a time and would like to transfer my up to date Outlook
information from the desktop to the laptop before I leave and reverse it when
I return.

How is the best way for me to accomplish this?

That depends on the mail account type that you are using. In general you can
transfer your pst-file and connect to it by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
File...
