Outlook 2007 Crashes during Search on mspst32.dll

It is so bad I cannot search, Outlook 2007 crashes everytime I search!! Why
is there no fix???

Details: Running VISTA Ultimate, Office 2007 with BCM, MS Connector for Live
Hotmail integration, and a number of RSS feeds in Outlook.

Have tried: Different anti virus programs
Have tried: reducing the number of large PST files, now I only have one,
other than the Archive PST file. Archive PST file is 539,665kb; attached PST
file is 561,489kb.
Have tried repairing PST files using SCANPST.EXE, it has gotten worse.

What is teh answer? I have seen posts on reducing number of large PST files,
that SCANPST.EXE is broken and Microsoft is not bothering to fix it.

When I migrated from XP to the new VISTA machine, eveyrthig worked fine but
after a couple of crashes and scanning with SCNPST.EXE
