Outlook 2007 B2TR Imap Issues...

E

East Asia

Maybe part of the problem is how I am doing this but...

IMAP in OL 2007 B2TR seems to have problems keeping straight which IMAP
account has subscribed to which folders.

I have 2 email addresses going to the same IMAP account.

So I subscribe to the IMAP Account twice in Accounts, but with different
names, and different reply address, but the same login name and password.

This gives me two IMAP 'Trees'. I want The first account to subscribe to
every folder, but I want the other accounts to only subscribe to the "sent
items" folder.

When I do this, Outlook gets confused as to which account subscribed to
which folders, and replicates the subscribed folders list across each imap
account, even though that is not how I set it up.

Any suggestions?

if you create a new account on another computer, do you see the same set of
subscribed folders without actually subscribing? I do... which means the
subscribe list is stored on the server, not on the client and is not profile
specific.

Wait till the RTM build is out and test then?

Sorry, but IMAP support has been flaky for some configurations during
the beta and we can all only hope that it will be better with the RTM
build.
