Outlook 2007 Archiving Sent Messages

When archiving Sent Messages the Sent Messages folder does not appear in the
Archive Folder. All other folders appear as a mirror of my Personal Folders.
I have checked the advanced options to be sure the messages are not treated
as "expired" and that the messages older than six months are to be saved. I
have a backup copy of the messages that are "going missing", but am curious
as to why this is happening.

It works for me. I have a Sent Items folder in the archive pst when I
include Sent Items as my archive selection.

Maybe a bug or something different between our installations.

Good catch. I have both, but the IMAP account uses the primary POP account
to hold sent items. If I create an archive of the pop account, then the
sent items folder is there. If I create a new archive when an IMAP location
is involved there is no sent items.

I had been suspicious about archiving the sent items folder for IMAP
since Beta 1, as I always get an error message here with mine. Thanks to
you I know now that it's not just my (rather old) archive file.
I just reopened my bug on this archiving issue.

Thanks for the input. The account is a POP3 account. I never had this issue
for Outlook 2003 or prior versions.

Clearly a bug of some sort.

Thanks
