outlook 2007 and office connector for outlook

outlook connector for office needed for msn premium, does not work with
outlook 2007 outlook beta anyone found a workaround

you can try setting the pst as default, not the msn account - if that fails
you'll have to wait for an updated connector. you can connect to the account
using HTTP until a new connector is released.

thank you for your reply,
i did lose most of my email however I do have outlook express running and
connecting via http, outlook 2007 still stops on start up still finding the
connector from 2003 even though I uninstalled it, I will wait for the
updated connector, where do youthink it might be posted?

I spoke with tech support from msnpremium last night about this problem. I
am having the same problem that you are. Tech support told me that microsoft
has not upgraded the outlook connector so that it is compatitble with Outlook
2007 beta. He is not sure when they will do it.

Hi,
I did solve it for the time being, I uninstalled office 2007, outlook
connecter and msn, then i modified the registry entry windows current version
NT windows messinging subsection under profiles where it showed the msn
connector i renamed it and then reinstalled office 2007 it has worked very
well, how to save msn data contacts etc I do not know how, but this is a test
system so I took the chance, also I ran outlook express before the uninstall
etc and outlook 2007 picked up all personal folders from outlook express,
when MS updates the connector I will try it,
