Outlook 2003 won't open

I have had issues lately trying to open my Outlook 2003 application. When I
click on the application, it seems as if it's trying to open, but then a
message pops up that says "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open
the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is
not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists." No
luck opening in safe mode either. Help!

Are you working with Exchange Server in online mode? Maybe it is not available?

I don't think we're working with Exchange Server but am not sure. I've been
using this Outlook for quite awhile (1.5 years) now and have not had a
problem until yesterday! Any other ideas?

1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Run Mail
3. Click Show Profiles and check if you have any profile defined.
4. Do you have the "Always use this profile" option selected? What profile
do you have in combox box selected? Do you have this profile on the list of
profiles?
