Outlook 2003 "Tools|Mail and News|Send Page" from MSIE

This post addresses two separate issues.

*** ISSUE 1 ***

When I click Tools|Mail and News|Send Page in MSIE 6.0 (Windows XP), the
Outlook editor, rather than Word, is invoked to create the message. Outlook
Options are set as follows:

Compose in this message format: Either Rich Text <or> HTML.

Use Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages: Checked.

Use Word 2003 to read Rich Text e-mail messages: Checked.
Internet Format|Outlook Rich Text Options: Either Convert to HTML Format
<or> Send using Outlook Rich Text format.

Is there an option setting or a fix for this?

*** ISSUE 2 ***

When I click Tools|Mail and News|Send Page in MSIE 6.0 (Windows XP) and HTML
is the default message format, the web page is always embedded in the
message rather than sent as an attachment.

Is there an option setting or a fix to send pages as attachments?

Thanks in advance for any help.

So be it.

Re #2: Using RTF message format with the Internet Format|...|Convert to HTML
option creates attachments that remain attachments in the HTML messages sent
to Internet-mail users.

Thanks.

1) No. Sending from other apps always brings up the outlook editor
2) You'll need to use plain text message format to send the page as an
attachment.
