Outlook 2003 TIF files wont open or save

I seem to be unable to open or save a tif file in Outlook
2003. It wont let me do either and comes up with a
message saying I need to change the permissions of the
folder I am saving in. This shows even when I am just
right clicking and opening the file. All other file
types open and save OK, Any ideas?
 
I have the same problem; I would appreciate if anyone out there has a solutio

ERROR MESG: "Can't create file: Captured Image.tif. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.

Fixed it. I did a detect & repair and selected "Discard my customized settings and restore defaults settings."
