outlook 2003 sync problem with exchange 2003

I have a unusual problem...

I cannot sync only the inbox emails with the exchange server.

keep getting the following message....
17:53:11 Synchronizer Version 11.0.5604
17:53:11 Synchronizing Mailbox 'xxxx, xxxxx'
17:53:11 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
17:53:11 Downloading from server 'xxxx.xxx.intra'
17:53:12 Error synchronizing folderError synchronizing folder
17:53:12 [80010114-3EE-80010114-560]
17:53:12 Unknown Error.
17:53:12 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

All other folders are updated ... but only the inbox emails is not updated.
the subfolders in the inbox are updated

had tried the support solution but did not help..

disable the cache mode, i get will emails. once i enable cache mode the
email disappear as it did not completely sync with the server.

hope someone can help !!!

What was the support solution? The URL got truncated...

Locate your ost-file and rename it to .old. Start Outlook and have it
resync.
