I am using Outlook 2003 in a Windows XP computer. Normally when I start
Outlook, I have to enter a password for Outlook to get on line. If I were to
then close Outlook and then open it again, I again would have to enter a
password to get Outlook to be on line. The Problem: The problem happens if I
am browsing the web (with version 3 of Firefox)and at a web page where I can
contact someone by clicking on a "Contact" button on the web page. When I
click on a "Contact" button, Outlook starts, I enter my password and then see
a new email window with the address from the web page. I then type in the
email and click on the "Send" button in Outlook. However, the message is not
sent. Nothing happens when I click on the Send button. If I close Outlook,
the Outlook icon disappears from my systray. Also, if I hit the Ctrl-Alt-Del
buttons, Outlook is not listed as still running. However, when I open Outlook
again I do not have to enter a password. Outlook automatically is on line but
I still cannot send the email by hitting the "Send" button in Outlook. These
problems happen every time I try to send an email from a web page by hitting
the "Contact" button on a web page, and Outlook opens for me to type in the
email.
I do not have these problems at any other time. They happen only when I
click on a "Contact" button on a web page that causes Outlook to open for me
to type in the email.
What could be causing these problems and how do I correct them?
Thanks.
