Outlook 2003 Loses Focus

R

Rocky Lane

When I click Contact on a web page, an Outlook New Message box appears.

If Outlook is running, the message box stays in focus so I can type a message.

If Outlook is NOT running, the message box loses focus every 2 or 3 seconds
as if another application has grabbed the focus. This interrupts typing and
causes illegible writing in the message box. There is nothing on the task bar
to show what application is grabbing the focus.

Is there a fix for this problem or do I always have to open Outlook first
before clicking on Contact in a web page?

I have a current up-to-date Vista system.

Thanks.

This is the only post that isn't getting a reply. It was moved to this folder
by Microsoft. Could this be the problem?

I don't see a new post by that subject? (Hint: keep the thread together
bying add new info to it, rather than reposting.)

Do you have all the latest updates for office and windows installed? Do you
have your antivirus integrated with outlook? if so, uninstall the AV and
reinstall without integration.
