Outlook 2003 Status Bar - Drop Down Menu?

I use outlook 2003 at work, and there is a drop down menu on the status bar
that I can click on to choose "work offline". typically it shows
"connected". This doc shows it as #9.

I recently installed outlook 2003 (professional) on my pc at home. I've
looked everywhere, and can't find a way to enable the drop down menu on the
status bar.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like you don't have your Exchange account configured with Cached
Exchange Mode enabled. Go into your account properties to enable it.
