Outlook 2003 (Small Business Server) and .Zip files

I recently upgraded to Outlook 2003 and I can no longer attach .zip files to
email messages. No error message is received - it simply tries to contact
the Outlook Exchange Server and ultimately it indicates "operation failed".
Any suggestions?

There's no such thing as an Outlook Exchange server -it's just Exchange
server, and you're accessing it via Outlook.

If you have Outlook open, and create a new message, use the insert
attachment button and browse to a folder, can you a) even see/view your zip
files? b) attach any other kind of file?
