Outlook 2003 - sent folder not getting today's sent items

It contains items sent through yesterday. My boss sent 4 items today, and
they did not appear in the Sent Items folder.

How come?

Go to Tools - Options - E-mail Options and make sure the box next to "Save
copies of messages in Sent Items folder" is checked.

In addition to r1234z's response, check the "In folders other than Inbox..."
option on Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options.
