Outlook 2003 Sending email probs

This is driving me crazy now:
I purchased Outlook 2003 over a week ago (upgrading from 2000) and, until
this morning, it was working perfectly sending and receiving email.
Now, I receive email no problem but I can't send email - the error message
is:

Task 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) :
'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

Now this means little to me and I've contacted, as expected, my ISP with
little help other than the reply "unfortunately we don't support Outlook
2003". The only thing they suggested was going back to Outlook 2000 or
using Outlook Express which they both do support.

Until this morning there wasn't a problem with 2003 sending email and this
problem has just appeared.

Any suggestions anyone?

Pete:
I am at Outlook 2003 and running XP and have experienced the same
exact problem more frequently than I care to talk about. Aside from
all the technical issues and discussion which I do not really
understand, the real fix was contacting my ISP and getting the correct
access numbers to use in a given location. I travel 100% and this just
compounds my problems. This morning I was given six numbers diffent
from what I had been using and as a result my outgoing mail is working
fine. No more error 0x80042109. Hope it helps.
