Outlook 2003 Search Folders

C

Craig Ferrier

I have 4 email accounts
The default and main email account attached to my personal folders is a POP3
account.
Another is an IMAP account
The other two are Hotmail accounts.

Under the "All Mail Folders" I have each four listed separately with the
POP3 account listed in "Personal Folders"
I have the default search folders in this section but have been trying to
create new search folders for the other 3 accounts.

It will not give me the option to select any folders for the IMAP or Hotmail
accounts to create search folders.

File/New/Search Folder/Search Mail In ...

Is there a solution to creating Search Folders for all accounts.

Search folders work only on one mailbox/personal folder set or public
folder. You would need one set of search folders per set of personal
folders, if IMAP and HTTP supported search folders. They aren't supported in
IMAP, but I thought they did with HTTP (Hotmail) accounts. If you don't have
the option to create them, I guess they don't. <g>
