Outlook 2003 rules

Outlook 2003 client. Exchange 2003 infrastructure:

I have a client-side rule to filter mail into a specific
folder. This rule has not worked since I moved to
Outlook 2003. If I run the rule manually, it works fine,
even if I run all of the other rules manually as well (so
I know an earlier rule is not breaking this one).

Problem happens from both my work laptop, and from my
home PC (also running Outlook 2003).

Can someone tell me if I can enable a rules log file or
something, that lets me see what rules run against each
incoming email? Has anyone else seen this before?

Dear Customer,

Thank you for posting here.

From your post, my understanding on this issue is: You can manually run
Outlook Server Side Rule; however, it doesn¡¯t work automatically. If I'm
off base, please feel free to let me know.

Based on my knowledge, the issue happens due to corrupt Outlook profile or
corrupt Client Side rule. We can troubleshoot the issue by creating a new
Outlook profile.

Create a new Profile

Note: A new profile is a new environment for us to use Outlook. To create a
new profile is only for a test to see if the problem is related to the
corrupt profile of Outlook. Creating new profile will not do any damage to
the old profile.

You can refer to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB)
for more information:

829918 How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2003

After login this new Outlook profile, manually create new Outlook Client
Rule again, then verify the issue and let me know the result. Hope this
helps. Please let me know if you have any other concerns or questions.
Thanks and have a nice day!

Thanks & Regards,

Lee Li
