Outlook 2003 reply arrow

I have one user that is experiencing an unusual problem. When she responds
to an email sometimes the icon does not change from an envelope to and
envelope with the purple arrow. I see a lot of similar problems on the net
but no solutions.

Any ideas?

User has Windows XP and we use an exchange server.

I'm also having the same problem as YoJa.
I have two users who is experiencing this issue and they are really
frustrated as they rely heavily on the reply arrow to know they have replied.
Would someone be kind enough to provide some suggestions as in how we could
possibly tackle this problem?

I am also having the same issue with a client running Outlook 2007. POP mail
only -no Exchange involved. This is very frustrating.
