Outlook 2003 on Exchange 5.5 Internal Emails going out to external SMTP server

mr

I just upgraded to Outlook 2003 from Outlook 2002 and when I send an email
using the receipents list to an internal Exchange server client the email
gets returned because it is being sent to the external SMTP server account
provided by my Internet Provider. Sometimes I can get it to stay internal if
I choose "Accounts" and try to force the message to use the Exchange Server
account but it does not always work.

Any Ideas?

thanks,

Marc

Are the messages that end up going to your ISP replies or forwards of a
message that was received from your ISP? Outlook defaults the account on
which replies and forwards are sent to the account on which the message was
received, in which case you'll have to change the account.
