Outlook 2003, Office 2003 SP1, Now Cannot Access Public Folders

After applying the Office 2003 SP1, we can no longer access public folders.
Get error: "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not
access the specified folder location. The operation failed." We had to
uninstall the 2003 Office Suite and reinstall without the SP; then we can
access Public Folders again, but the old issues reappear; like the clipart
not showing, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks. Brenda
 
Try a new mail profile.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Schwertz asked:
