Public folder access problem

Hello,

Don't know if this is an Exchange or Outlook problem, sorry for
posting in both groups :)

Exchange Enterprise Edition 2003 SP2, Outlook 2003 SP2 in Windows XP
SP2, 1.000 users and public folders. Until yesterday a user was able
to access a public folder; tree is :
\Public folders\All Public Folders\Department\Incoming Mail
\Public folders\All Public Folders\Department\Outgoing Mail

Then suddenly this user does not see the content of the Department
folder nor the subfolders.
When you click on the Department folder properties, summary tab, you
see this user has the Reviewer role.
This role did not change, Default permission is Reviewer for
everybody.

If I change the user permissions to Owner, same problem.
No problems accessing folders in another "tree".

I moved the mailbox from one store in one storage group to another
store in another storage group, same issue.
I ran RUS many times, nothing.

I checked the permissions with PFDAVAdmin, DACLs are correct.

User is a member of groups, but none of them has a deny access.

No error message, just an empty window when clicking on Department.

If I type in the Address bar the path to a subfolder : \Public folders
\All Public Folders\Department\Incoming Mail, I get a grey window
saying :
"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not
access the specified folder location".

No error/warning message in the Exchange Event Logs.

I created a blank new Outlook profile, still the same problem.

Any idea of what happens ? What else can I do ?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Problem solved...
The accesses were set up for a group which contains contact -> cannot
be a security group, must be a distribution group, -> no permissions
were set up for that group.
