Outlook 2003 & Off-line calendar sharing

I work for a large organization that has several Exchange 2000 servers. I travel a lot and my workgroup colugues want to share calendars. My workgroup members use Outlook 2003, Outlook XP & Outlook 2000. I use to be able to send calendaring updates via Email but I can't get that to work in this version. Is there a simple way to share calendars with others that doesn't require a server?

What precisely doesn't work? You should still be able to exchange meetings requests and responses.
