Outlook 2003 Not Responding or bringing pc to a Non Responsive

I am using Outlook 2003 and constantly I get the "Not Responding" message.
Especially when I try to open an e-mail or click an attachment to open in an
e-mail, this happens and locks my Outlook and IE or brings my Laptop to a
non-responsive position for 5-6 minutes may be more.

Also, I have 7 Office Updates

Security Update for Office 2003 (KB920813)
Update for Excel 2003 (KB929058)
Security Update for Word 2003 (KB929057)
Update for Office 2003 (KB925251)
Update for PowerPoint 2003 (KB929060)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB932330)
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB929064)

that is been downloaded for more than 2 months but it will not install.

Can anyone help me with these issues?

window
It says Not Responding. If there are any logs , I don't know how to look it
up. On the case of the updates, When I click Install Updates 1 by 1 It says
Installation was not succesful!

you do anything specific before then?

Do the updates install when you use the web interface?

regularly and it does not happen after something I do.... On the issue of
updates I am enrolled to the automatic updates so nothing new is instaling
for the last few months since the listed updates on my first message were
downloaded but not installed...

Still on the Outlook hang issue; since when are you experiencing this? Did
you do anything specific before then?

Do the updates install when you use the web interface?

Yes, I tried it.. I had te same results..do you know how to delete these
updates that are hanging for the past 2 months that will not install? May be
I can delete those and try the manual update again.

Tried the webupdate instead of automatic update? What were the results?

I' ve done the installations, I followed the trouble shooting and I created a
new path in the regedit so this time it was installed but I guess I will see
if this not responding issue or frozen up my laptop will continue or not!

My operating system is XP Media Center Edition, do you think it may have
something to do with that?

Yes, I tried it.. I had te same results..do you know how to delete
these
updates that are hanging for the past 2 months that will not install?
May
be
I can delete those and try the manual update again.

This happens during the regular , normal use of my Laptop... It
happens
regularly and it does not happen after something I do.... On the
issue
of
updates I am enrolled to the automatic updates so nothing new is
instaling
for the last few months since the listed updates on my first message
were
downloaded but not installed...

Still on the Outlook hang issue; since when are you experiencing
this?
Did
you do anything specific before then?

Do the updates install when you use the web interface?

If it fails there it returns an error code.

top
of
the
window
It says Not Responding. If there are any logs , I don't know how
to
look
it
up. On the case of the updates, When I click Install Updates 1 by
1
It
says
Installation was not succesful!

I am using Outlook 2003 and constantly I get the "Not
Responding"
message.
Especially when I try to open an e-mail or click an attachment
to
open
in
an
e-mail, this happens and locks my Outlook and IE or brings my
Laptop
to
a
non-responsive position for 5-6 minutes may be more.

Also, I have 7 Office Updates

Security Update for Office 2003 (KB920813)
Update for Excel 2003 (KB929058)
Security Update for Word 2003 (KB929057)
Update for Office 2003 (KB925251)
Update for PowerPoint 2003 (KB929060)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB932330)
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB929064)

that is been downloaded for more than 2 months but it will not
install.

Can anyone help me with these issues?

I' ve done the installations, I followed the trouble shooting and I
created a
new path in the regedit so this time it was installed but I guess I will
see
if this not responding issue or frozen up my laptop will continue or not!

No, MCE is just a superset on Windows XP Pro.
