Outlook 2003 - new mail window

To keep my desktop tidy, I would like Outlook to keep all opened items (such
as the window for a new mail, and any other opened Outlook items) within the
main Outlook window.

Lotus Notes has a tabbed interface - Mailbox, Calendar, opened mail 1,
opened calendar item etc...

It doesn't have to be a tabbed interface, but I want some way to keep my
Outlook items from opening all over my desktop, ideally by keeping opened
Outlook items within the main Outlook window somehow.

I guess that Outlook isn't configurable to this extent, but with a
combination of VB manipulation of Outlook plus the Windows XP API, has
someone somewhere already put something together as an add-in or something to
acheive what I want ?

Any advice at all on this is gratefully received.

Many thanks for any help out there.

Nope, but if you have Taskbar Grouping enabled you can easily minimize or
restore them all by 2 clicks; right click on the group-> minimize group
