I have 4 hotmail accounts configured on Outlook 2003.
Everytime I start outlook, at least one of them give me
password error even repeating typing the password
carefully, and after hitting cancel, I found one or more
accounts mixed up together so that clicking on any of them
will give me the same inbox. This is very annoying since
everytime I want to check a particular Inbox that was
hidden by this bug, I have to close and reopen outlook
again. Anyone has clues what's going on?

Did this just start happening on Friday? If yes, Microsoft has been having
intermittent problems that seem to be pretty much fixed Saturday and today.

Not really. It's been happening almost since I installed
Outlook 2003. What was new this Friday, is that two
accounts of mine were blocked (probably because of many
wrong attempts by Outlook with wrong passwords), and I had
to reset the password using the secret question.

I'm having this problelm, too.
I've had Outlook 2003 (both independant of, and along with, other
components of Office 2K3) installed for several months, now, and my
Hotmail accounts get mixed up on a regular basis.

I created a new profile yesterday but that didn't help, per se,
because the accounts got mixed up in due course.

What seems to help is removing the acounts and creating them anew. Of
course, that's not a good long-term solution.

Another one for the bug list?
