Outlook 2003 Mapi Failure

Cannot send word document as an email attachment. Its says mapi failure and
asks to restart outlook and the word document. But this doesnot solve the
problem. Any ideas of how to deal with this problems? Thanks

What exact method do you use to add the attachment as there are many ways to
do this?
Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor?
Can you send other type of attachments?
Tried a Repair on Office already?

Everything else works? How big is the attachment?

the attachments about 30K not big at all.
The deletion of the office registry files and the repair of the Office 2003
worked. I had to linked back the Outlook pst files and reload the addresses.
But the attachments can be sent from the Word Document using the Send as
attachment feature. Thanks very much
