Outlook 2003: Mail merge HTML-setting problems

Whenever I try to use mail merge in Outlook 2003 I am forced to send the
mails unformatted and therefore click 'yes' for each email (after the
well-known prompt).

This is the case because mail merge will no longer send my messages when I
select HTML format (in the dropdownbox where you choose the format right
before sending ).

I used to not have a problem with sending the mails with HTML format
selected in the dropdownbox. This meant I never had to click 'yes' for each
individual email. When I select html-format now and click to send the mails
all that happens is the counter moves real fast. No messages are being sent.

Does anyone know why I would not be able to send messages having html-format
selected? It's a real pain to have to lose the formatting and having to click
'yes' 500 times.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You got a reply for this exact same question 5 days ago already.

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
scanner. For more details see;

Roady!

Thank you very much! And my apologies for posting this again. I couldn't
find the old post for the life of me. I tried for a good 20 minutes and gave
up! I never meant to pollute this forum.

I will have to check with my system administrator here at work as far as the
virus scanner is concerned. Thanks a lot! You MVP's help out a lotta folks.
Great!
