Outlook 2003, live.com, and Outlook Connector

Just installed Outlook Connector.

How do I get live.com ID to appear as sending ID and not 'regular' ID - for
emails assocaited with live.com ID?

You can change the default outgoing account in Tools-> Account Settings...
You can change it on a per message basis by using the Accounts button near
the Send button (Assuming you have multiple accounts configured in Outlook).
Note that replies and forwards will are already set to go out with the
account you received them with. It doesn't matter which account you have set
as the default.
